Is it possible to have depression and ADHD at the same time?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Edward Kuhnley
44 years experience in Child Psychiatry
Yes: 14% of children with adhd also have depression. In adults major depressive disorder (mdd) is the most common condition comorbid with adhd (prevalence 24.4% to 31%) (fischer et al., 2007; biederman et al., 1993).
