A member asked:

Im having chest pains in my rib and upper chest area accompanied by headaches in the back of my head. what could the cause be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest pains : Your symptoms of chest pains are nonspecific. A physician would have to take a thorough history and system review, perform a physical diagnosis and order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis. Chest pains can come from the rib cage, heart, lung, esophagus for example. The headaches in the back of the head could be muscle contraction tension ones. See your MD for a workup if symptoms persist
