Hi Dr, how accurate is the antibody part of a 4th generation test at detecting hiv-2 at 38 days post exposure since p24 is not detectable on hiv-2. Doc has said I am conclusive about my negative status. Exposure was in Thailand.
Hi. How accurate/conclusive is a negative result of HIV RNA (early detection test) taken 4 weeks post exposure? My exposure was pretty low risk as told to me by my doctors. I will obviously be taking other follow up tests as time goes by. Thank you.
Had possible exposure 11 years ago. Had an HIV test ( blood from doctor and two oral home test ) all neg can I believe so i can move on with my life?
Just so I understand after hiv exposure and symptoms if I test negative after symptoms the test would be positive if it was from hiv, my case tested neg after window period,but i have seen doctors sayings ( hiv test conclusive if no symptoms)?
