Some basics: Introducing solids gives you a chance to teach a different form of textures/feeding & slowly transition baby to table foods. Simple low allergenic foods like rice cereal are good starters. A diary(calendar) of each allows you to keep track of any reactions (usually within 3 days). From bland cereals to vegies to fruits, one new item a week, will give you a broad basis for future eating.
