Unsafe foods: Do not give honey to an infant under 1 yr of age due to risk of botulism. Other unsafe foods include raisins, hot dogs cut in circles that are choking hazards. Hard foods the size of a infant's finger are also choking hazards. Avoid soy, cow or goat milk in babies under 1 yr of age. Use instead breastmilk or formula for infants under one year of age.
