Vomiting child: If he is well, just monitor it, sometimes food we eat can be foul smelling when it comes up after being digested. Make sure he didnt eat something untoward like dog/cat feces. Is he having usual bowel movements? If he has fever, abdominal bloating or the food is undigested meal, or appears unwell, he could have bowel obstruction and may need xray.
