Severe headache. feels like i have pressure in my skull. pain above eyes, in front of ears, back base of skull and on top of head. what is wrong?

Headache: Are you prone to frequent headaches? If not and this is a very severe headache I recommend being examined by a physician. Tension headache or migraine don't seem likely. Viral syndrome or sinus congestion or infection may be the cause. An excruciating sudden headache occurs with intracranial bleeding. Brain tumor less likely. A head ct scan or sinus studies may be ordered.
