How can you overcome gas on ultrasound to better view the pancreas?

US testing : Ask your doctor. You may need to fast. Ultrasounds often have problems seeing the pancreas. Ask your doctor how to proceed. CT scan and MRI are better tests to see the pancreas. I would not be able to tell you if that these expensive tests are needed without more information. Evaluation of the pancreas is not limited to the need to see it, for example, blood tests, stool tests or physical.
