A member asked:

37yr, osteoporosis, von willebrand fever fatigue short of breath. bonemarrow 30% hypocellular trilineage hematopoiesis. cbc is okay. is 30% worrisome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bone marrow abnormal: These findings suggest bone marrow dysplasia which, if present, should be followed by a hematologist as more serious bone marrow and peripheral blood problems can occur in the future. Anemia would explain fatigue and shortness of breath but apparently your cbc shows no anemia. If fever has been present for more than a few days it warrants investigation with examination and testing with cultures.
