HPV ? HPV ?: The ability for transmission of the virus "HPV" depends on whether vehicle (in this case, a used towel) touches a receptive surface. If the vehicle has been used recently on an individual who has the virus, it can be transmitted.

HPV: Human Papilloma virus is a contagious illness usually transmitted by sexual/intimate contact. There is a vaccine against it which is important to receive if you have not- it protects against HPV which can cause cervical cancer in women and genital warts in men. The answer to your question is that it is unlikely to transmit via a towel, unless the towel was used to clean up after sexual activity.
