You can wait 6 mo mo: Infertility is moderately common, but not diagnosed until after 1 year of "trying" unsuccessfully. The cone biopsy has nothing to do with fertility; however, it may be a risk for premature labor ("cervical incontinence"); that will be important to discuss with you physician once you are pregnant.
