Ppi long term associated with hypomagnesemia which doesnt resolve until off the drug. would lowering the dose not reduce this long term side effect?

Rare side efect w//P: Hypomagnesaemia associated hypocalcaemia and hypoparathyroidism have been increasingly recognised as rare long-term side-effects of PPI in less than 1 %. The PPIs may inhibit active magnesium (Mg )absorption, responded to withdrawal of therapy. Host of side effect ranges from no symptoms to lethargy , leg cramping to seizures and life-threatening arrhythmias , responding better w/ I/V replaceme
