A member asked:

I woke up this morning and my entire lower leg below the knee was numb. it felt as if it fell asleep and it hasnt gone away hours later. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Numbness or tingling in your leg is usually due to compression of one of the nerves in your lower back or may also be due to a compressed nerve by your knee. If it does not improve on it's own after 1-2 weeks or worsens see your physician for further workup.
