Vaginal after C/S ?: Vaginal birth after a prior Cesarean section is certainly possible, but should be planned for induction by your OB physician, with more rigorous criteria for progress during labor, because of the prior incision weakening the uterine wall, with possible rupture. Induction of labor can begin at 38-39 weeks of pregnancy, but may result in repeat C/S if not progressing.
