Has IBS, : Abdominal pain appears to be caused by different pathophysiological mechanisms in IBS-D and IBS-C: in IBS-D, pain is associated with the passage of a loose/watery stool whereas in IBS-C, pain increases with distention from cumulative days without a stool.The symptoms exhibited in this patient is compatible with IBS-C. SIBO should be considered if patient continues to be symptomatic.
