The tests done at annual examination vary by the health and family history. If you have not had sex, drug use, or blood transfusion, there is not need to test for HIV. Period tests for hemoglobin, thyroid functions (TSH), cholesterol and glucose may be useful. However, your doctor is in a better position to pick the tests that may be useful. Wish you good health!

There are differences between different doctors, health systems, etc, but usually HIV testing is not done unless the patient is believed to be at risk. However, testing for insurance purposes often includes HIV. Ideally doctors would routinely ask about HIV risks, but many do not; persons at risk should inform the doctor. If you want a test despite no risk, you'll also need to request it.
