Knee sprain: Whether there is a ligament insult or not, yet to be discovered, however doubtful given the low impact trauma. You need to go to urgent care or ER, meanwhile rest your knee, apply cold compresses and knee braces or ACE bandage for stabilization, and elevate your knee, take NSAIDS, unless contraindicated, till you see a doctor, wish you well
