Unlikely: Liver enzymes can go up to a minor degree with many common viruses, some of which would have little if any symptoms. They are also triggered by use of acetaminophen, alcohol & many common OTC meds that are disposed of through the liver.

Unlikely due to Omep: Omeprazole is not the likely cause of increase in liver enzymes. The most common cause is alcohol...so cut down or avoid alcohol use. Hepatitis from virus infection is another common cause. Follow up the liver enzymes with a repeat blood test for Liver Functions once weekly, till they come down to normal.
