Rx guided by symptom: Anal fissure usually isn’t a serious condition. It can affect people of all ages, and it’s often seen in infants and young children . In most cases, the tear heals on its own within four to six weeks. In present case due to severe bleeding, Rectal Exam w/Anoscope and poss. Endoscopy, if dx is not evident Rx incl.: Plenty of water, stool softener,NTG oint. to promote bld. supply, steroid cream
