Usually no problem: Amoxicillin does not usually cause acid reflux to worsen. If you are noticing worse problems after having completed a course of it, you should see your doctor or your gastroenterologist. It is OK to use over-the-counter antacids such as Tums or Mylanta as needed in the meantime. Good luck.
