I feel like this is a silly question. i was laying with my hand on my chest, felt my heart beating. checked my pulse in my neck, and it did not sync up, almost like its delayed in my neck. is the pulse different because of the blood flow traveling?

Index pulse check: Make sure you’re not using your thumb to check your pulse as the circulation in the thumb is different- try taking your pulse with the index finger instead. Your chest pounding with your heartbeat should correspond with your pulse.
