Not well studied: MRI that will show the colon & pancreas. Use to screen for colon cancer (ruling out colon cancer in patients w no symptoms) hasn't been studied. Most experience is with Crohn's disease and small intestine conditions. It hasn't been compared to known ways to "rule out" colon cancer (like colonoscopy). So, substituting MRI enterography for colonoscopy could be a risk. Hope this helps.
