I had my tonsils out about 3 months ago. recovery went well but for the last 6 weeks there feels like swelling in my throat along with pain. i have seen my ent and he gave a proton pump inhibitor, but the pain is getting worse. what should i do?

ENT follow up: Your throat pain and swelling may be caused by a number of conditions. If you have reflux, a medication adjustment may be needed. The specialist may need to take a biopsy of the area for prolonged symptoms to rule out other causes.
