Warm Compresses: A simple stye responds well to using warm compresses 10 minutes at least 4 times per day. This is a towel soaked in very warm water (don't burn yourself but the hotter the better) pressed right against the eye. It should be almost sloppy wet. This helps draw out the infection by bringing it to the surface and also increases blood flow to the area. Antibiotics may help but are usually unnecessary.
