Not really: Urinary infections need to be treated with antibiotics. Not treating can lead to much more serious complications.

Some basics: A true UTI might heal over time as they did in the pre- antibiotic era. However, the chance that a bladder infection would extend up the urinary tract to involve and damage the kidneys increases over time. Failure to properly treat these may result in long term kidney disease and or eventual kidney failure. Confirming/treating these early is the best way to limit damage.
