I've started taking pritor three days ago. my bp is still very high at 150/90. how long will it take before the meds will lower my bp?

Hypertension: I would like to know how high your bp was before being started on pritor. If it hasn't improved I would encourage lifestyle changes,if needed, and give the medication another 2 weeks before increasing the dose or adding another medication. However if your bp has dropped significantly already just continue and recheck in a couple of weeks.
