Hello,a small part of my vein at th back of my rght hand swells n bcmes painful.i hd an iv in ths area 6mnths bck,was painful n bruised. please advise?

NOT dangerous.: Sounds like you might have had a very small clot in or around the vein from the i.v. This is common, and is not dangerous. It will probably slowly go away. In general no specific treatment beyond over the counter analgesics, warm or cool packs (whatever helps) would be recommended. Procedures could be considered for cosmetic reasons if it is really important to you. Hope this helps.
