My right ankle is swollen, and has a slight discomfort/ bit of pain. i don't recall hurt the ankle.. it's now 2 weeks.. should i be concerned?

Evaluation needed: Painful swelling of the ankle can be due to arthritis, sprained or torn ligament, stress fracture from overuse. Painless swelling only at the end of the day suggests vein pathology like phlebitis or venous valve insufficiency. I recommend an examination by a physician for diagnosis and treatment. For many months now, I've had a non-stop tenderness with mild-to-moderate pain across my left ankle. There was no known injury or cause. It has worsened and is slightly swollen.
