I was given amoxicillin to take 4x daily. how should i space that out thru the day? do i need to wake up during the night to take it?

Every 4-6 hr: Just space it out fairly evenly over the day: as soon as you awake in the morning, at bedtime, and something like noon and 4-5 pm. It doesn't matter if some doses are only 3-4 hours apart and others 8-9 hours.

May change schedule: Amoxicillin doe not have to be taken 4x daily. Instead, you may adjust the each dose and take 2-3 times a day as long as you take same total amount each day, e.g. 500mg 4x daily vs 1000mg 2x daily.
