Period after tubal ?: If your periods were at normal intervals prior to your tubal ligation, the procedure should not influence the timing of your periods. At 36, your ovulation may just be delayed secondary to stress (the operation can be stressful in anticipation). Obtain a serum HCG test to make certain about pregnancy. If positive, see your gyn physician immediately.
