A member asked:

Is there an antidepressant i can use while pregnant? i have never been this suicidal in my life, i cant do another 31 weeks of this.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depression ?: Ask your OB physician to suggest Lexapro, a short half-life SSRI type antidepressant, which has the advantage of being able to stop with only a few hours of detectable medication in your system. SSRI's are safe to take in pregnancy.
