Pregnant: pain : In the first two to three months of pregnancy, the ovary which supplied the egg for fertilization produces hormones, and enlarges, stretching the capsule of the ovary, which can produce "slight discomfort" in the "left abdomen". Your wife should see an OB physician for other important testing in early pregnancy.
