Type I diabetes: Type one diabetes can complicate pregnancy significantly. At age 31, it should not interfere with pregnancy, but ask your gyn physician about an "HSG" (hysterosalpingogram) an x-ray to make sure your tubes are open, which is the most common cause of infertility. If you do become pregnant, be sure to see a specialist in high risk pregnancy.
