Its like it beats normally and then i feel a heaviness in my chest almost, then my heart pauses, i cough and then it repeats. should i be worried?

Heart rhythm : For young women with these type of chest symptoms, it could be related to premature heart beats and/or mitral valve prolapse. You need some blood tests (to evaluate electrolytes and thyroid function), echocardiogram and ECG. Avoid caffeine. See your doctor!
