A member asked:

I had total hysterectomy 3years ago but i still suffer from ovulation or abdominal pains even though i don't have my periods. what could be the cause?

Ovaries present?: If your ovaries are still present, then ovulation cramping may still occur. A "total hysterectomy" can sometimes be a removal of the uterus and cervix only and not the Fallopian tubes or ovaries.
