Some basics: Is he coughing continuously ? Does he complain about difficulty breathing ? Is he playing normally now & interacting with others as he usually does ? If he is acting & playing normally just keep an eye on things. If anything nasty were going to happen it would within a few hours. If he spooks you in any way go in.
