Vomiting in child: How old ? Holding any liquid down/ eating ice pops? fever ? pain? gastroenteritis? appy? injury? if can not hold any liquid , > 5 episodes, dizzy, weak go to ER will need IV fluids/ medicine. Dehydration can cause vomiting. Needs to drink ~3-5 oz(90-150 ml) /hour depending on fluid loss. A teaspoon is 5 ml. If 11-20 kg needs 1000 ml + 50 ml for every kg > 10/ day normally. f/u/ w/M
