I'm not sure: But this may very well more be a psychologic thing rather than a concerning physiologic/anatomic problem. If you are able to still swallow soda and food without issue, that is much more suggest it is a taste/texture phenomenon. But the bigger issue for you, and not to judge, is that your soda intake is quite excessive. I would just urge you to consider "healthier" beverages in the long run.
