Lightheadedness in the supine position could be explainable by low blood pressure or by a very slow heart rate which decrease cerebral blood flow. . Dizziness in the form of vertigo could occur upon lying down or with other head movements. Does the lightheadedness improve upon sitting up or standing? If so, does the blood pressure or heart rate improve(better cerebral circulation)?
