DVT no: The chances of you having a DVT with a negative D dimer are extremely low. Your symptoms are concerning for a pinched nerve in your back or on the side of the knee. The nervous system supports and directs muscle function. When the system of nerves and muscle are not working properly the joints and muscle wear more with regular use and then cause pain.
