Start with this: Eventually he should be seen, but there are some things you can do now to buy some time & help him a lot sooner. Ibuprofen dosed for size (if over 6 mo) helps some & can be repeated as needed every 6 hrs. A heating pad to the affected side of the head (low heat) often distracts the brain from pain input to sensing comfort from heat.
