How might you make your breath smell ok when you have peridontal disease?

Dr. Dinh Bui answered

Scale and root plane: Scaling will remove the calculus, where bacterial colony resides on the root/tooth surfaces. Root planing will help the surface relatively smooth to reduce recolonization. Regular recall to clean your teeth will prevent and help maintain the relatively smooth surfaces. This will eliminate gum inflammation and bleeding and ultimately prevent halitosis (bad breath) from bleeding gum.
