A member asked:

I have seasonal allergy, what should i do to reduce the symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergies: Other than avoiding the trees, grasses, weeds that bother you, take antihistamines like benadryl(causes drowsiness) or claritin(nondrowsy). To relieve nasal congestion use decongestant nasal spray(like afrin) and corticosteroid nasal spray like flonase. Some patients even require medication like singulair or a course of oral corticosteroids to control very severe symptoms.
