First obtain a free : Testosterone level. Second you need an estradiol level, which might indicate excess cyclic aromatase levles.

Perhaps: Good morning Sir, Additional information is needed. Low total testosterone with normal LH/FSH could represent secondary hypogonadism but repeat testing in the AM plus a free testosterone and sex hormone binding globulin will help to clarify. There are things that can impact the testing and give a “false” low total testosterone measurement. See attached algorithm. Be well. Dr. Wood
