Diabetes is likely: High glucose (sugar) and protein in urine are common signs of diabetes or other kidney problems. Please follow up with your doctor for further evaluation. If your results were from a screening dipstick, they may be false positives. Sometimes urine will show high glucose and protein right after exercise or eating, but return to normal later. Again, please check with your primary care provider.
