More informaton: needed/ This sounds like the spine of an older person not a 40 year old unless there has been heavy duty lifting as a part of the history! Schorls nodules are not really significant but the degenerative disc disease should be evaluated by Spine Specialist. Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
