HSV 2: Although HSV 2 can occur in the mouth it is more commonly to be carried in the genital tract. If your partner had open sores on the mouth then the risk would be high. If your partner is an asymptomatic carrier of HSV 2 and typically only has outbreaks on the genitals then the risk would be low.
