My son has a hormonal abnormality. we found out that he has bone age 17 from hand x-ray. does this also mean his leg + torso bone age is the same too?

Yes: The estimates of a child's or teen's bone age (skeletal maturity) is calibrated to x-rays of the hand and wrist bones, meaning numbers generated by x-rays of other bones may not be accurate estimates. An important concept to remember is that all results are ESTIMATES.
