Tinnitus: If the ringing was caused by blockage of the eustachian tube from nasal membrane congestion, the tinnitus should resolve after blockage clears. The same can be said if wax caused blockage. However, if damage to the ear drum occurred from vigorous nose blowing, tinnitus would be more long-lasting. If your tinnitus doesn't show gradual improvement, consult an Otolaryngologist.
