Brown vomitus: Brown vomitus is nonspecific and unlike bloody or coffee grounds vomitus, it doesn't necessarily denote a serious problem. However, repeated vomiting and persistent abdominal pain or distension or black bowel movements are very serious symptoms.

Agree with above: If you haven't thrown up again, it likely is not serious. If it happens again, you might want to have it looked at. Maybe check a complete blood count to make sure there is nothing more serious.
